Professional Bio:
About
Anna Viduani is a clinical psychologist trained at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where she also earned a Master’s degree in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health. She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the same program and completed a predoctoral fellowship at CGMHE. Anna is a researcher at Prodia – the Childhood and Adolescent Depression Program at UFRGS/HCPA – where she has contributed to data collection and analysis for the Identifying Depression Early in Adolescence (IDEA) Project.
Her research centers on child and adolescent depression, with a strong emphasis on qualitative methodologies and language analysis to explore lived experiences and inform more person-centered approaches to mental health care. Alongside her academic work, Anna maintains a private clinical practice, offering psychological assessment and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
